Thankful for the Rain

More important than God’s rain upon the earth is His Spiritual rain upon each individual life. Unlike rain upon the earth you can’t have too much of His Spiritual rain. Hopefully we never stop praying for an abundance to flood each life.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it

without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.  Isaiah 55:10-11,Deut. 32:2, Isaiah 44:3 (NIV)
